Firstly, I had a mini self-debate about where to put this... Didn't know if it should go in emotional, or conceptual, but in the end I chose conceptual, because perhaps not everyone will get the emotion I want to put forth.
Which would be jealousy, and how it isn't a healthy thing if you let it control it.
By that, I mean when you simply *must* have everything everyone else has. It's boring to be a sheep and follow the crowd, so why not try being different...? You don't need to be exactly like the rest of society, and everyone in it. This is why I personally support those who try to be different, to a certain extent anyway.
However, I do realise that *everyone* gets jealous at some point in their life for whatever reason they may have. Even me, but it's healthy in the way that I may see someone's art and think 'I'm so jealous, I wish I could be as good', but it doesn't make me angry, it makes me determined to do better and work harder.
There are some people, though, that seem to take the simple emotion to extremes; like jealously is a disease.
It then starts eating at you, tearing you apart, draining your energy, turning you into someone you just aren't.
Be yourself.
Be proud of your qualities, and encourage those around you to continue to do their best, too. Everyone should stay unique in their own way...
